3D printer comparisons
Head-to-head matchups with specs side by side.
- QIDI Q1 Pro vs Creality K1CThe Q1 Pro is discontinued, so this matters mainly for used buyers and owners. It has the hotter chamber and nozzle; the K1C is the one you can buy new at $499 (October 2026). If you want a QIDI, look at its successor, the Q2.
- Prusa Core One vs Bambu Lab P1SPick the Prusa Core One (now sold as CORE One+ Gen 2) for a 55°C heated chamber, a 120°C bed and Ethernet; check prusa3d.com for its price. Pick the P1S at $349 (October 2026) for the lowest price and AMS multicolor up to 16 colors.
- Bambu Lab H2D vs Creality K2 PlusChoose the H2D for two-nozzle multicolor, a 65°C chamber and an optional laser; choose the K2 Plus for a bigger 350 mm cube and a lower price. Compare like for like: H2D AMS Combo $1,599 against K2 Plus Combo $1,199 (October 2026).
- Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra vs Elegoo Saturn 4 UltraChoose the Mars 5 Ultra for small, detailed models at $284 (October 2026) with an 18 µm screen and camera. Choose the Saturn 4 Ultra if you batch-print miniatures or tall figures on a 218.88 x 122.88 x 220 mm plate and can pay about twice as much. Both are rated at 150 mm/h.
- Anycubic Kobra 3 Combo vs Bambu Lab A1 ComboBuy the A1 Combo if you want a new, supported multicolor printer: it is sold today at $359 (October 2026) with automatic calibration. The Kobra 3 Combo is sold out new, so it only makes sense as a used purchase if you want ACE Pro expansion to eight colors.
- Creality Ender 3 V3 vs Bambu Lab A1 MiniThe Ender-3 V3 is sold out on Creality's US store, so this page suits used buyers and owners. It has a bigger 220 x 220 x 250 mm bed, 110 °C bed and 600 mm/s rating; the A1 mini is in stock, adds optional 4-color AMS Lite and is the practical pick for new buyers.
- Elegoo Centauri Carbon vs Bambu Lab P1SThe Centauri Carbon is no longer sold new on Elegoo's US store, so this page suits used buyers and owners. It lists a 320 °C hotend with a brass-hardened steel nozzle and a 110 °C bed; the P1S is still sold, takes up to 16 colors with AMS and is the safer new purchase. If you prefer Elegoo, look at the Centauri Carbon 2.
- Bambu Lab P1S vs Bambu Lab X1 CarbonThe X1 Carbon is end of life and no longer sold new, so this comparison suits used buyers and current owners. A used X1 Carbon offers a hardened steel nozzle, 5-inch touchscreen and lidar; the P1S is still sold, has no announced end of life and is the lower-risk new purchase. New buyers wanting hardened hardware should look at the P2S or X2D.
- Bambu Lab A1 vs Bambu Lab P1SBuy the A1 if you mostly print PLA, PETG and TPU and want the lowest price and a larger screen. Buy the P1S if you want an enclosed printer with a carbon filter for ABS and ASA, 20,000 mm/s² acceleration, or room to grow to as many as 16 colors with several AMS units. Both have a 256 mm cube build volume.
- Bambu Lab A1 vs Bambu Lab A1 MiniBuy the A1 if you want the 256 mm bed, a 100 °C heated bed and a larger screen, and can pay a bit more. Buy the A1 mini if you print small PLA, PETG or TPU parts, have limited desk space, or want the lowest price into Bambu's lineup. Both take the AMS Lite for 4 colors; neither suits ABS or ASA.
