3DPrinterLab exists to be the number one source of truth in 3D printing. Our goal is simple: help you buy the right printer for what you actually want to make, whether that is your first beginner machine, a multicolor printer for cosplay props, a resin printer for miniatures or a workhorse for a small business.

What we pride ourselves on

• Facts over hype. Every printer page is built from the manufacturer's published specifications and official store pricing, plus documented reports from owners where they exist.
• Showing our work. Each page lists its sources and the date it was last checked, so you can verify anything we say.
• Matching the printer to the use case. Our best-of pages state the criteria behind every pick (for example price, build volume, enclosure, multicolor support and ease of setup), so you can see why a printer fits your needs.
• Staying current. Prices and models change fast, and pages are re-checked as they do.
• Independence. No brand pays to be included or ranked. We may earn a commission on purchases made through some links, but that never decides which printers we recommend.

How we choose

We do not run our own lab tests and we do not give scores out of 10. Picks are chosen against the criteria stated on each page, using published specs, official pricing and documented owner reports.
