Overview
The K2 Plus is Creality's flagship enclosed CoreXY printer, with a 350 x 350 x 350 mm volume, 600 mm/s top speed and 30,000 mm/s2 acceleration. It heats its chamber to 60 C, reaches 350 C at the nozzle and supports up to four CFS units for 16-color printing.
What it is
The K2 Plus is the largest printer in Creality's K2 flagship series. It is an enclosed CoreXY machine with a 350 mm cube build volume, active chamber heating and support for Creality's CFS (Creality Filament System) for multicolor and multi-material printing. The official US store sells it on its own or in Combo bundles with one to four CFS units.
Key specs that matter
- Build volume: 350 x 350 x 350 mm, the biggest in the K2 line (the K2 Pro is 300 mm, the K2 is 260 mm).
- Speed and acceleration: up to 600 mm/s and 30,000 mm/s2, with step-servo motors on X, Y, Z and the extruder.
- Hotend: all-metal, 100 W, hardened steel 0.4 mm nozzle up to 350 C, with 0.2, 0.6 and 0.8 mm nozzles supported.
- Heated bed: up to 120 C.
- Chamber: active heating up to 60 C. Creality says ABS, ASA and PPS need a 60 C chamber and PAHT-CF needs 50 C.
- Materials: Creality lists PLA, PETG, PET, ABS, ASA, PLA-CF, PA-CF and PPA-CF.
- Multicolor: optional CFS, 4 colors per unit, up to 16 colors with four units. Built-in RFID reader for Creality filament.
- Cameras: 1080p chamber camera and a nozzle AI camera.
- Connectivity: dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz), Ethernet, USB drive, LAN and Creality Cloud, 32 GB storage.
- Screen: 4.3 in touchscreen. Auto belt tensioning.
Who it suits
The K2 Plus suits makers and small businesses that need large, multicolor or engineering-material prints in one machine: big cosplay pieces, product prototypes, fixtures and parts in ABS, ASA or carbon fiber nylon. Tom's Hardware gave it an Editor's Choice award and called it the biggest color machine on the market. It also suits shops that want wired networking and on-board storage for queued jobs, since it combines Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi and 32 GB of storage. For buyers who mainly print PLA at normal sizes, much of what the K2 Plus adds will go unused.
What to know before buying
- Base or Combo. The US store lists the K2 Plus without CFS at $999 and the Combo with one CFS at $1,199. If you want color, compare the Combo price with the cost of buying a CFS separately.
- Purge waste. Tom's Hardware measured more color-change purge waste than on a Bambu Lab P1P in its test print, and noted purge volume can only be adjusted with a multiplier, not per color.
- Heat soak and door. Tom's Hardware heat-soaked the bed for 15 minutes before its PETG print, and advised against printing with the door closed except for high-temperature materials.
- TPU and the CFS. In Tom's Hardware's review, TPU jammed in the CFS tubing; it printed from an external spool instead.
- Size and weight. Creality lists the K2 Plus at 35 kg, so it needs a sturdy surface.

Pros and cons
Pros
- The 350 x 350 x 350 mm build volume is the largest in Creality's K2 series and suits large single-piece parts.
- Active chamber heating to 60 C supports ABS, ASA and PPS, which Creality says need a 60 C chamber.
- A 350 C hardened steel nozzle and 120 C bed open up engineering materials like PA-CF and PPA-CF.
- Optional CFS units provide 4 colors each, scaling to 16 colors with four units and RFID filament detection.
- Creality rates it at 600 mm/s and 30,000 mm/s2, with step-servo motors and automatic belt tensioning.
- Dual-band Wi-Fi, Ethernet, 32 GB storage and a 1080p chamber camera support remote and workshop use.
Cons
- At $999 base or $1,199 with one CFS on the US store, it costs far more than K1 and K2 models.
- Tom's Hardware measured more color-change purge waste than a Bambu Lab P1P on the same test model.
- Tom's Hardware found TPU jammed in the CFS tubing, so flexible filament needs an external spool.
- Tom's Hardware heat-soaked the bed for 15 minutes before printing PETG, which adds time to the start of a job.
- At 35 kg per Creality, it is heavy and needs a sturdy table and plenty of space.
- Tom's Hardware notes purge volume can only be set by a multiplier in the slicer, not per color.
Frequently asked questions
Should I buy the K2 Plus or the K2 Plus Combo?
The base K2 Plus without CFS is $999 on Creality's US store and prints one material at a time. The Combo at $1,199 adds one CFS for 4-color printing. If you plan to print in color, the Combo is the simpler route.
Can the K2 Plus print ABS, ASA and nylon?
Yes. It has an enclosed chamber with active heating to 60 C, a 350 C hardened steel nozzle and a 120 C bed. Creality lists ABS, ASA, PA-CF and PPA-CF among supported materials.
How many colors can the K2 Plus print?
Each CFS unit holds 4 filaments, and the printer supports up to four CFS units for 16 colors. The US store sells bundles with one, two or four CFS units.
Can the K2 Plus print TPU?
In Tom's Hardware's review, TPU jammed in the CFS tubing but printed from an external spool. Plan to feed flexible filament directly rather than through the CFS.
Does it work with third-party filament?
Yes. It uses standard 1.75 mm filament. The built-in RFID reader auto-detects Creality-tagged spools, and other brands can be set manually.

Verdict
The K2 Plus is for buyers who need a large enclosed printer with active chamber heating and optional multicolor, and who will use the 350 mm volume and engineering-material range. If you mostly print PLA at normal sizes, a K2, K2 Pro or K1C will cost much less.
